Your privacy matters

PepEmu is a simple, privacy-respecting educational site. This page explains what data we handle, why, and what we never do with it.

1. Data we collect

We do not sell data. We do not run advertising. We do not use third-party trackers. The site stores the following locally on your device: your age-gate preference, your language choice, and if you use the optional storefront, your cart contents. If you create an account, we store the email address and name you provide, solely to operate the account.

2. Local storage

Your age-gate preference, language, and cart are stored entirely in your browser’s localStorage. Nothing from these features is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

3. Server logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically captures standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operational troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify or track individual visitors.

4. Account data

Creating an account is optional. If you do, your email, name, and order history are used only to provide the account features. This data is never shared with third parties except where required by law.

5. Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies: an authentication cookie if you log in, and a language preference cookie so the server can render the right language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Contact data

If you email us, your email address and message are used only to respond to your inquiry and are not added to any marketing list.

7. Your choices

You can clear your localStorage, cookies, or your entire account at any time. Account deletion requests sent to our contact email are processed within 30 days.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By using PepEmu, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
