How it works
GHK-Cu chelates copper and delivers it to tissues, where it promotes collagen and elastin synthesis, supports angiogenesis, attracts immune cells for repair, and exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. It may also help reverse some signs of skin aging.
Common research uses
- Skin repair and collagen synthesis
- Wound healing research
- Anti-aging and skin firmness
- Hair and connective tissue studies
Considerations
Widely used in cosmetics with a good safety record topically. Injectable research use is less standardized. Mild irritation possible in sensitive skin.
