How it works

LL-37 disrupts microbial membranes directly, killing a broad spectrum of pathogens. It also binds to immune cell receptors, promoting chemotaxis, regulating inflammation, and stimulating tissue repair and angiogenesis.

Common research uses

  • Antimicrobial and anti-biofilm research
  • Innate immune defense studies
  • Wound healing and angiogenesis
  • Inflammation modulation

Considerations

Research peptide. Highly bioactive, so dosing and handling require care. Most evidence is preclinical. Research use only.
