Overview

TB-500 is the synthetically produced fragment of the naturally occurring protein Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4). TB4 is present in almost all human cells and plays a central role in cell migration, differentiation, and tissue regeneration. TB-500 is investigated for its potential to promote healing and reduce inflammation.

Common dose
2.5–5 mg

How it works

TB-500 binds to actin, an essential component of the cell cytoskeleton, promoting cell motility and survival. It upregulates proteins involved in tissue repair and has been shown to raise levels of the cell-signaling compound that supports angiogenesis and vascular health.

Common research uses

  • Muscle, tendon, and ligament recovery
  • Reducing inflammation and oxidative stress
  • Supporting new blood vessel formation
  • General tissue regeneration research

Considerations

Research is largely preclinical. Dosing protocols vary widely and are not well standardized for humans. For research purposes only.
