CJC-1295
A long-acting GHRH analogue that amplifies growth hormone pulses.
Overview
CJC-1295 is a modified, long-acting analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH, GRF 1-29). It stimulates the pituitary to produce and release growth hormone. Its modification extends its half-life, allowing less frequent dosing while maintaining elevated GH pulses.
Dosing
Injection
- Starting dose
- 1 mg
- Common dose
- 1–2 mg
- Frequency
- 2–3× weekly
- Notes
- With DAC (long-acting); the no-DAC form uses 100–200 mcg 1–3× daily.
Reported research/reference doses for educational purposes only. Always verify against primary literature and applicable regulations. Not medical advice.
How it works
CJC-1295 binds to GHRH receptors on the somatotroph cells of the anterior pituitary, increasing both the synthesis and pulsatile release of growth hormone. The addition of a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) binds it to albumin, prolonging its circulation time.
Common research uses
- Growth hormone pulse enhancement
- Lean body mass and recovery
- Sleep quality and anti-aging research
- Metabolic health studies
Considerations
Research peptide. Long-acting DAC versions produce a sustained GH elevation unlike natural pulses, which may warrant careful monitoring. Research use only.
